By using the icon of social block-house a project tries to create not just an attractive architectural shape but
what is the most important a new identity for the closest neighbourhood of social housing estate ?Piaski?.
Proposed urban structure apart from attractive functions located inside offers an additional space ? urban
rooms. Those spaces are open for the every day activity and new unpredictable actions of public life. The
goal of urban rooms is to create the identity in local users and to reinforce the feeling of taking a part in a life
of this facility. Through the direct connection between building and its ?rooms? it seems like building takes
care of those spaces and gives them a chance for living, various, and the most important – safe public space.
It gives the locals the opportunity for new ways of spending a time and the identity with the place they live.
