Context of detached-houses and regulations stating an angle of the pitched roof (30° – 45°) reduces searching for
the structure of the kindergarten to a typical detached-house with a two-pitched roof. An effort to covering
everything under one roof causes a monster over scaling of the object and creates functionally and economically
unnecessary attic space. To tackle this problem we have suggested defragmentation and multiplication of a
detached-house icon. Proposed urban structure respects the scale and context, at the same time creates micro-
urban scheme with various spaces which in our feeling would have positive impact to children’s growth and
psyche. Wrapping the public facades of the kindergarten and existing fire station with a timber fence motive in
simple way brings the spatial order, clearly creates out the public place and a safety zone for children.
